We did a whole series of creepy guy in the background, starring me!

So "The Column" was closed while we were in Astoria, OR. I decided we should take a photo of us next to the sign posted on the door stating how poor our timing was. I grabbed a wooden barrier stand to use as my tripod (however, my fresh taste in fashion trends must have made me look like a hoodlum) and the dude in the photo says to me, "Put it back. Just put it back."
I then explain my tripod idea and ask if he would take the photo instead. He does- but the photo is quite poor. Anyway, perhaps feeling guilty for being so stearn he then offers to lets us have a peek at the new stairs. We then find out he is the guy in charge and he proceeds to tell us about the history of this place, mostly about how shitty the old stairs were.

To summarize this experience I'm going to use one of my favorite quotes by my Grandfather, "Well it is better than a kick in the ass with a frozen boot!"
